Our story
Clarke’s Window Cleaning Contractors was set up in 1993 by Jonathan Clarke.
After working for another company for two years, Jonathan had a vision to change the way window cleaning was looked upon.
Transforming the image from a man in a smock carrying a ladder with a dirty cloth shoved in his pocket, Jonathan had a vision of uniformed staff and sign written vans. Putting together a business plan and applying for a Prince’s Trust grant and winning one, the vision could start to take shape. Over 30 years later, ladders are a thing of the past. We use reach and wash systems and our own IPAF-operated cherry picker for high-level work.
We now cover all areas of West Leeds for residential window cleaning, and the whole of Yorkshire for commercial window cleaning and cherry picker hire.
